A court has ordered Nikolas Ferreira to remove a video that uses Felipe Neto's image for profit.

In the lawsuit, the YouTuber is asking Nikolas to compensate him with R$ 50 for moral damages.

247 - A court in Rio de Janeiro has ordered Nikolas Ferreira, the most voted-for federal deputy in Brazil, to remove a video in which he uses Felipe Neto's image to promote the event "The Great Cancellation." The preliminary injunction mandates the removal of a post on Instagram, under penalty of a daily fine of R$ 3. This information comes from journalist Lauro Jardim, in his column. column in the newspaper O Globo.

In the lawsuit, the YouTuber is asking Nikolas to pay him R$ 50 in damages for moral harm. He alleges that the promotional videos for events organized by the congressman use his image "with a clear intent to defame."

Judge Bianca Nigri, of the 4th Civil Court of the Barra da Tijuca Regional Court, also ordered Facebook to be notified. The magistrate argues that maintaining the post "damages its image" and that this "culminates in irreparable harm," which is why she granted the preliminary injunction urgently. She states:

"From what we can see, there is no cultural content, so its exclusion will not harm society or cause the omission of information essential to the coexistence of followers."
