A Globo illustrator is accused of racism for comparing a black person to a criminal.

247 - Illustrator Rafaella Tuma, creator of the "I am the little lamb" meme, is being accused of racism on social media. The young woman, who has a painting featured on BBB 23 (Big Brother Brazil 23), published a post with racist connotations on Instagram.

The meme depicts a dialogue: In a WhatsApp conversation, one friend tells another that she's heartbroken over a guy and sends a photo of a shirtless Black man wearing a cap and smoking in front of an unpainted house. The other friend replies: "Why are you heartbroken? Did he steal from you?"

Followers flooded the comments section of Rafaella's other posts, accusing her of discrimination.

Subsequently, the illustrator used her social media to apologize and say that she had indeed made a mistake.
