"Flávio Bolsonaro has switched his mind. Sorry, but that's wrong," said a Bolsonaro supporter on social media.
Another internet user said that she "will not let Flávio off the hook" just because he is the president's son.
Senate approves Paulo Gustavo Law and bill goes to President for approval.
"I am completely outraged that Flávio Bolsonaro voted in favor of this absurd law!!" said another Bolsonaro supporter.
The proposal was named the Paulo Gustavo Law in honor of the actor, who died of Covid in May 2021. During the vote, senators paid tribute to the actor. Randolfe Rodrigues (Rede-AP) referred to Paulo Gustavo as "one of the greatest artists" the country has ever had.
