During the tour, participants were briefed on the multimedia activities of TV BRICS and then took a guided tour of the library.
The representatives expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome and highlighted their admiration for the scale and richness of the cultural space.
The executive editor of Brazil 247Leonardo Sobreira highlighted the intention to advance the partnership with TV BRICS, established between the media outlets in 2022. "We seek to deepen our cooperation and disseminate more and more positive news about the BRICS countries, providing a counterpoint to the negative coverage given to our countries by the mainstream media," he said.
Jorge Luis Bermúdez Cruz, Director-General of Caribbean Channel (Cuba) assessed: "This visit gave us the opportunity to connect with the culture, immerse ourselves in the world of books and feel the magic of literature – that same world of words from which, essentially, we all come. Each stand, each pavilion we visited told its story, and we absorbed the atmosphere, the wisdom and the inspiration transmitted by its creators."
The BRICS Global Media Tour is a regular project of BRICS TV, aiming to promote practical interaction between media representatives at major international and Russian business events. In this edition, leaders from partner media outlets participated in the XVII Assembly of the Russian World and the session "New Dimension of Media: Expanding Dialogue – Strengthening Trust," co-organized by the media network. The forum was organized by the Russian World Foundation, with informational support from BRICS TV.
