247 - The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) announced the opening of a new office in the "Silicon Valley" of the Asian country. Apex will now be located in Shenzhen, a city in Guangdong province. The announcement coincides with projects by the company Meituan in Brazil. The Chinese giant operates in the delivery sector and makes approximately 90 million deliveries daily. It is headquartered in Shenzhen.

"With the support of ApexBrasil, the company will invest R$ 6 billion in its office in Brazil, under the international brand Keeta," stated the Brazilian agency, according to information published in... Jamil Chade's column

The Shenzhen region is considered the Chinese "Silicon Valley"—a Special Economic Zone created in 1979 that has become a global benchmark in technology. In Brazil, Keeta intends to create a national delivery network and support the growth of food and beverage retailers. The Chinese company wants to compete with local operators, including Rappi (based in Colombia) and iFood (Brazil).
