247 - A 56-year-old man in Turkey has tested positive for the coronavirus 78 times. Muzaffer Kayasan's first positive diagnosis was recorded in November 2020. In an interview with the Ihlas News Agency, Kayasan stated that after questioning the medical team about his situation, he was informed that the tests continued to be positive due to his weakened immune system because of leukemia.
“I recovered, but I still have traces of COVID-19 in my body. This is the only explanation they gave me for the positive tests,” he said.
“I have no problems here other than being unable to touch my loved ones. It’s very difficult. I can’t even get vaccinated because of my condition.”
