CNI mobilizes more than 100 businesspeople for business meetings between Brazil and Spain.
Executives are meeting in São Paulo until Friday, March 31st, to discuss investment opportunities and business cooperation.
From the National Confederation of Industry - The Brazilian industrial sector is increasingly interested in doing business abroad. This week, more than 100 Brazilian businesspeople, mobilized by the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), are meeting with approximately 40 Spanish executives to discuss investment opportunities and business cooperation. The business meeting is part of the Brazil-Spain Business Meeting, an event taking place from March 29th to 31st in São Paulo, and organized by the Spanish government agency Spain Export and Investment (ICEX), from the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, and the Spanish embassy in Brazil. The CNI is one of the institutional partners of the meeting.
The business roundtables will be held on March 29th and 31st. The mobilization of Brazilian companies from various sectors was carried out through the Brazilian Network of International Business Centers (Rede CIN), which, in addition to promoting business missions with strategic partners worldwide, encourages the participation of entrepreneurs in business meetings to support Brazilian internationalization. The objective is to enable executives to identify strategic market and sector information, as well as find potential local partners, importers, or suppliers to finalize operations.
“Business meetings are effective because they allow direct contact between foreign and local entrepreneurs from various sectors in one place. It is important to take advantage of opportunities with the Spanish market, since Spain is already the third largest investor country in Brazil and the European country is an important destination for Brazilian investments abroad,” says Sarah Saldanha, Manager of Internationalization Services at CNI.
In addition to participating in business roundtables, CNI will be represented at the event during panel discussions on topics relevant to the bilateral relationship. The Executive Manager of Economics, Mário Sérgio Telles, will participate in a panel on the theme "Brazil Today: Challenges and Opportunities - Foreign Investment, Reindustrialization and Tax Reform," and the Industrial Policy Manager, Samantha Cunha, is invited to a roundtable discussion on the theme "Digitization of Services, Industry and Tourism in Brazil."
