"You are hostages of the press," Lula tells Moro.

In his testimony to Judge Sérgio Moro this afternoon, former President Lula criticized the media's use of the accusations made against him; "You at the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office have become hostages of the press. Every day there are 20, 30 minutes of news coverage with unfounded accusations against me on television. I see people campaigning against me daily," said Lula; irritated, Moro said that this was not the place to "make speeches or campaign."

Paraná 247 - At the end of his testimony to Judge Sérgio Moro, former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva criticized the media's use of the accusations made against him: "You in the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office have become hostages of the press. Every day there are 20, 30 minutes of news coverage with unfounded accusations against me on television. I see people campaigning against me daily," said Lula.

Irritated, Moro said that this was not the place to "make speeches or campaign" and that the former president, if he had any complaints, should only speak about the subject of the proceedings.

According to Lula, "there is a witch hunt against him," with daily accusations and widespread media coverage of these events. "If people don't want to take responsibility for the illegal acts they committed, they shouldn't blame me. The goal is to find someone to incriminate me," Lula concluded.
