The Electoral Court has ordered the execution of a search and seizure warrant at the central committee of the candidate for re-election, Governor Beto Richa (PSDB), due to the distribution of pamphlets that were allegedly offensive to candidate Gleisi Hoffmann (PT); in addition to being subject to a fine of R$ 10, "each time it is proven that the distribution of the material was repeated," the governor has 48 hours, from the time of notification, to respond.
Paraná News - The Electoral Court has ordered a search and seizure warrant to be executed at the central committee of the candidate for re-election, Governor Beto Richa (PSDB), due to the distribution of pamphlets offensive to candidate Gleisi Hoffmann (PT), from the Paraná Olhando Pra Frente coalition.
The decision by auxiliary judge Lourival Pedro Chemim responds to a complaint filed by Gleisi's coalition. The pamphlets bear the signature of Beto Richa's coalition. In addition to being subject to a fine of R$ 10 "each time it is proven that the distribution of the material was repeated," Beto has 48 hours, from the time of notification, to present a response. The search and seizure warrant was issued for the address of the central campaign committee of the pamphlet's authors, located at Rua Comendador Fontana, 161, in the Centro Cívico neighborhood.
