The investigation conducted by the Military Police indicated that the officers did not commit any excesses during the approach to the delivery driver, despite Everton Henrique's strong allegations of differential treatment based on his race. However, the internal investigation identified disciplinary failures on the part of the four police officers involved at two specific times. Firstly, the officers did not accompany Everton Henrique when he went to his apartment to retrieve his documents, as reported by the Military Police. Furthermore, they failed to notice the arrival of the second patrol car assigned to transport the prisoners, which constituted another disciplinary infraction.

Colonel Vladimir Luís Silva da Rosa, head of the General Inspectorate of the Military Police, assessed that the handling of the approach was appropriate, highlighting that the police officers maintained dialogue and instructed the parties involved. However, Everton Henrique publicly denounced feeling dehumanized during the police action. comparing his experience to being treated like "a bag of trash".

The delivery driver, in an interview with RBS TV on Monday (19), emphasized the disparity in treatment between him, a black man, and the white aggressor. Everton's statements generated a wave of indignation and discussions about racism within the public security forces.
