A request signed by Paraná senators Gleisi Hoffmann (PT) and Roberto Requião (PMDB) was approved in the Senate plenary, creating an external commission of five senators to go to Paraná this Wednesday (29); they will monitor the conflict between the Legislative Assembly and the employees who are prevented from attending the debate and voting sessions of the project; due to the seriousness of the situation in the State, the House even authorized the use of a Brazilian Air Force (FAB) plane for the delegation.

They will monitor, representing the Federal Senate, the conflict between the Legislative Assembly and the employees who are prevented from attending the debate and voting sessions of the project.
The delegation will function similarly to UN missions in war zones, or in cases of suspicious elections. Due to the seriousness of the situation in Paraná, the Senate even authorized the use of a Brazilian Air Force (FAB) plane for the delegation.
The fact is that the battle in the Assembly is leaving the whole of Brazil worried. Not since the military dictatorship (1964-1985) has there been such truculence from a governor as that of Beto Richa (PSDB) in approving unpopular measures.
