247 - Senator Roberto Requião (PMDB-PR) used his Twitter account to mock the choice of the American ice cream brand Häagen-Dazs to supply the presidential plane that transports Michel Temer on official trips. According to the senator, the choice over the Diletto brand, which counts among its partners Verônica Serra, daughter of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Serra, foreshadows what could be the next resignation in the Temer government.

"Is there any doubt that Temer's choice of the American ice cream Häagen Dazs, instead of the Dilleto ice cream favored by Serra's daughter, foreshadows his imminent resignation?", wrote Requião.

The parliamentarian's irony came after a tender worth R$ 1,75 million for the purchase of snacks and meals for Michel Temer's (PMDB) plane came to light. The announcement was made shortly after information about the purchase of ice cream, juices, gluten-free bread, and other items became public. The government intended to spend R$ 7.500 on premium Häagen-Dazs ice cream alone.

The bidding process was canceled due to the negative publicity surrounding the issue after the values and listed items were revealed by the press.
