247 - Former senator and former governor of Paraná Roberto Requião (without party affiliation) used Twitter on Saturday (8) to confirm his pre-candidacy again for governor of the state.

"To correct the absurd mistakes of the current government, the high water and electricity rates, the taxes that harm our businesses and prevent job creation, I am launching my pre-candidacy for governor of the state of Paraná!", wrote Requião.

He also took the opportunity to remind everyone of what he did while serving as governor of Paraná. "When we created the highest regional minimum wage in the country in Paraná, we simultaneously reduced taxes for micro and small businesses to compensate for the wage increase. We got the economy working. The restoration of the dignity of work must be established in parallel with privileged tax treatment for micro and small business owners, who are responsible for 72% of the jobs offered in Brazil. Bolsonaro claimed he intended to dismantle the Brazilian state and put it at the service of economic liberalism. He didn't succeed. Now Sergio Moro says he wants to do what Bolsonaro didn't do. Has Sergio Moro gone mad? Micro and small businesses are responsible for 70 to 80% of the jobs offered in Paraná and Brazil. That's why, in our government, while we increased the regional minimum wage, we drastically and brutally reduced taxes for micro and small business owners. Absolute success. We left the government of Paraná with 83% public support. We generated a fantastic number of jobs, privileged our companies, reduced taxes for micro and small businesses. We got agriculture working and had the lowest water rates in Brazil." And energy!

The politician left the MDB in July 2021. and so far he is without a party. In August of last year, the former president Lula (PT) invited Requião to join the PT.
