Federal Police want to transfer contractors to prisons.
Detained in connection with Operation Lava Jato, some of the executives have been held in the Curitiba jail since November 14th; five prisoners are expected to remain there – money launderer Alberto Youssef, two informants, money launderer Nelma Kodama and Iara Galdino, who were convicted last year; the Federal Police argue to Judge Sérgio Moro that the presence of the prisoners disrupts the institution's investigative work.
247 - The Federal Police requested the Federal Court of Curitiba (PR) to transfer 15 prisoners from the holding cells of the Federal Police building to the prison system of the State of Paraná.
Detained as part of Operation Lava Jato, some of the contractors have been in jail since November 14th.
