247 - Senator Hamilton Mourão (Republicanos-RS) reported that he signed a request for the creation of a Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPI) into the coup attempts of January 8th, when Bolsonaro supporters invaded the National Congress, the Presidential Palace, and the Supreme Federal Court (STF) in Brasília (DF). Mourão was Jair Bolsonaro's (PL) vice president.
"Senator Hamilton Mourão (Republicanos-RS) signed a request for the installation of a Joint Parliamentary Inquiry Commission to investigate the events of January 8, 2023," the post said.
The Attorney General's Office (PGR) reported at least 835 people for involvement in terrorist acts.
