Gleisi: Dilma is facing impeachment proceedings simply for being a woman.
Senator Gleisi Hoffmann (PT-PR) accused "misogyny" of being behind the coup against President Dilma Rousseff; according to the parliamentarian, the impeachment of Fernando Collor de Mello had material evidence for the trial; "The president had no crime of responsibility," the senator compared; "I have no doubt whatsoever about the misogyny that still exists in society and in politics," opined the parliamentarian.
Esmael's Blog - Senator Gleisi Hoffmann (PT-PR), in an interview with the program "Giro com Willian Corrêa" on TV Cultura, in Brasília, accused "misogyny" of being behind the coup against President Dilma Rousseff.
According to Gleisi, the impeachment of Fernando Collor de Mello had material evidence to support the trial. "The president had no crime of responsibility," the senator compares.
"I have no doubt whatsoever about the misogyny that still exists in society and in politics," the congresswoman opined.
Gleisi further reinforced her conviction that Dilma is being persecuted for being a woman, citing the Chamber's inaction regarding the expulsion of Congressman Eduardo Cunha (PMDB-RJ).
"We are in a position to reverse six to seven votes in the plenary session," the PT senator assured.
