Philosopher mocks and campaigns for Moro as president.
Amilton Sganzerla says that the Lava Jato judge "creates the symbolic image of a great fighter against corruption" and "is faithfully fulfilling the agenda of trying to strike down and destroy the main symbols of the left in the country"; the philosopher also states in an article that, "if the nest hatches, at the right time, Moro will resign from his position as magistrate, join a small party and build a broad right-wing alliance. And Globo and its satellites will do the rest."
Sergio Moro, President of Brazil!
By Amilton Sganzerla*
Is this an absurd hypothesis? Perhaps yes, perhaps not so much. Let's see.
Moro is not a professional politician; he pleases all those who believe that politics is the root of all evil.
Moro acts like a despot, catering to all those who want the return of the dictatorship.
Moro is a tormentor of the left, but he caters to all those on the right.
Moro arrests and punishes some big businessmen, satisfying all those who think that justice doesn't put the rich in jail.
Moro pleases the media barons. For two reasons. Because he fulfills their agenda of weakening the federal government and because he generates a headline every week. They also need headlines to sell their product.
Moro pleases multinational corporations because he is destroying what little national engineering and technology we have left.
Moro is avoiding any problems for right-wing parties in his investigations because he will need their support in the near future.
Moro disregards the law to punish alleged criminals, just like the heroes in Hollywood crime movies.
Moro creates the symbolic image of a great fighter against corruption, considered the great and only evil of the country.
Moro appears competent, organized, and capable of leading, everything that is said to be the qualities of a good manager.
Moro swore an oath of vassalage and demonstrated his enchantment with the true political party of the right in Brazil, Rede Globo and its owners, by accepting and receiving, without being able to hide his amazement, the "Makes a Difference - Personality of the Year" Award from the hands of the "Marinhos" (a nickname for Globo's owners).
Moro is faithfully following the agenda of trying to eliminate and destroy the main symbols of the left in the country.
Unfortunately, we are not witnessing a process of combating corruption, but rather the construction of a candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic.
Brazil no longer has room for a return to the visually brutal despotism of the post-64 military regime. What's in the hatchery is a candidate for enlightened despotism with popular support.
The Brazilian right wing has a well-thought-out and orchestrated plan, and they will do to Alckmin and the PSDB what they did to Carlos Lacerda, Magalhães Pinto, and the UDN in 64. They will be used while they are useful and discarded at the right time.
Moro will be the perfect candidate for the political environment that has been created. He's the perfect fit for a new dictatorship in Brazil.
A politician who doesn't look like one, military behavior without uniform and insignia, media popularity without being of the people, the appearance of a reformer to avoid any reform, the appearance of an ordinary citizen to be a legitimate representative of the elite, a fighter against corruption while being the protector of the worst corruption.
The Brazilian elite is using the tactic of the "quero-quero," a bird native to our lands: it sings on one hill and lays its eggs on another.
If the nest hatches, at the right time, Moro will resign from his position as a magistrate, join a small party, and build a broad right-wing alliance. And Globo and its satellites will take care of the rest.
The main way to avoid robberies is still the ability to predict the robbers' movements and, therefore, take measures to prevent it from happening.
There is an ongoing assault against Brazilian democracy and the few social gains achieved in this short democratic period from 1988 to the present day.
Enlightened despotism is gestating in Brazil.
The world of appearances obscures the essence of the world. Today in Brazil, more than ever.
We need to expose the plan so that it doesn't succeed.
