247 - Businessman Willian Jaeger, suspected of using an iron bar to hit a PRF (Federal Highway Police) agent in the head, was released on Thursday night (24) after paying bail of R$ 50. 

The attack took place on November 7th amidst coup-mongering by Bolsonaro supporters on BR-470 in front of a Havan store in the municipality of Rio do Sul, Santa Catarina, 190 kilometers from the capital Florianópolis.

Jaeger, who is 33 years old and also a race car driver, was arrested for attempted murder. Colleagues of the injured police officer, who sent a photo of the damaged helmet, said he could have died if he hadn't been wearing protective gear, reports the source. UOL report.
