By Esmael Morais, on your blog - Senator Alvaro Dias (Podemos) decided to get revenge on his former party colleague, Senator Aécio Neves (PSDB-MG), by arguing that the decision to remove the PSDB member from office is correct.

After Aécio's rise within the PSDB, Alvaro began to face hostility within the party, and for that reason, he migrated to the PV before joining Podemos.

"We're not going to discuss the legal issue now, but from our point of view, I believe the Supreme Court's decision is supported by current legislation," said Alvaro.

Through convoluted means, the Podemos presidential candidate's position is in favor of maintaining Aécio's removal from office and his house arrest.

However, Alvaro clarifies that "it is up to the Senate to discuss only when it leads to imprisonment," in other words, when the parliamentarian ends up behind bars, as happened with former Senator Delcídio do Amaral.

Next Tuesday, October 3rd, the Senate will vote on the Supreme Court's request for authorization to punish Aécio Neves. The expectation is that the full Senate will reject the request if the court does not back down by then.
