'Democracy wins and Bolsonaro will be relegated to the dustbin of history,' says Gleisi after Moraes rejects PL's coup attempt.
The president of the PT (Workers' Party) stated that Minister Alexandre de Moraes' decision to fine Valdemar and Bolsonaro's bill was "educational."
247 - The president of the PT party, federal deputy Gleisi Hoffmann (PR), declared that it had been "educational" decision by the president of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), Alexandre de Moraes, against the PL.
"Minister Alexandre de Moraes was instructive! With coup plotters, the law is applied, but it's not cut off at the root. Democracy wins and Bolsonaro will be left in the dustbin of history," wrote Gleisi.

The request submitted by the PL party to the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) alleged "serious and irreparable inconsistencies regarding the functioning of a portion of the electronic voting machines used in the 2022 election." Based on this conclusion, the party requested that Bolsonaro be declared the winner of the election because he received the most votes in the "valid voting machines."
Moraes described the PL's request to annul votes cast in a series of older-model electronic voting machines as bizarre, illicit and blatantly violative of the democratic rule of law.
