Zema insults Brazilians and says the federal government facilitated Bolsonaro's terrorism.
In an interview, the governor of Minas Gerais, who supported Jair Bolsonaro, falsely accused the Lula government, which had just taken office, of turning a blind eye to terrorist acts.
247 - The governor of Minas Gerais, Romeu Zema, spread misinformation this Monday (16) about the Bolsonaro terrorist attacks against the Three Powers on the 8th.
In an interview with Rádio Gaúcha, Zema, who supported Jair Bolsonaro, accused the government of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of facilitating a coup attempt in Brasília.
"It seems to me that there was a mistake on the part of the radical right, which is a minority. There was also a mistake, perhaps even a deliberate one, on the part of the Federal Government, which turned a blind eye to the worst happening and then played the victim," stated Romeu Zema.

The Bolsonaro-supporting governor also criticized the removal of the governor of the Federal District, Ibaneis Rocha, calling the Supreme Federal Court's (STF) decision "premature, unnecessary and unfair," and downplayed the terrorists' actions in Brasília.
“To confuse a law-abiding citizen with a vandal is a very serious mistake. Those who committed the vandalism should be punished. Now, extending that to those who are demonstrating peacefully is a very different situation,” Zema stated.
