247 - The governor of Rio de Janeiro, Wilson Witzel (PSC), stated that Jair Bolsonaro gives grounds for being tried for crimes against humanity.

"I am not here to prejudge anyone, but if I could give advice as a lawyer, I would say that he is putting his freedom at risk. It is not acceptable for a head of state to go against what international organizations to which Brazil is a signatory say, such as Article 7 of the Rome Statute, on crimes against humanity," said the head of the Rio de Janeiro Executive regarding Bolsonaro's walk through the streets of Brasília this Sunday (29).

The governor also criticized a potential decree being considered by Bolsonaro to allow work to resume in the country even during the coronavirus pandemic.
