At least 48 people died between Saturday night (18) and Sunday morning (19).
The São Paulo state government reported that 1.730 people have been displaced and 766 are homeless.
Displaced is someone whose home was affected but who managed to find shelter with a relative or friend. Homeless is someone who needs government assistance.
