247 - Elected in 2020 with almost 25 votes, councilwoman Tainá de Paula (PT) from the city of Rio de Janeiro (RJ), who chairs the Urban Affairs Committee of the City Council, is expected to take over a secretariat in the administration of Mayor Eduardo Paes (PSD). The information was published this Thursday (24) by O Globo newspaper.

The mayor supported the president-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT). The entry of the PT member into the Rio de Janeiro city hall is part of a national-level rapprochement between the PT and the party led by Gilberto Kassab. There is a possibility that the PSD will nominate ministers for Lula's government.

The councilwoman, who is an architect and urban planner, has several options, such as the Housing, Social Assistance, or Development and Innovation departments.
