Romário continues to lead the race for the Senate in Rio, according to Ipec.

In second place, candidate Clarissa (União Brasil) rose from 5% to 8%. Alessandro Molon (PSB) dropped from 8% to 7%.

247 - Senator Romário (PL) leads the race for the Senate in the state of Rio, showed this Tuesday (6) the Ipec survey, commissioned by GlobeThe congressman had 30% in the previous poll (from August 30th). Candidate Clarissa (União Brasil) went from 5% to 8%.

Candidate Alessandro Molon (PSB) dropped from 8% to 7%. Candidate Cabo Daciolo (PDT) increased from 6% to 7%, and André Ceciliano (PT) increased from 5% to 7%.

Federal deputy Daniel Silveira (PTB) went from 7% to 6%.

Three other candidates remained at 1% - Raul (UP): remained at 1%, Prof. Helvio Costa (DC): remained at 1%, and Bárbara Sinedino (PSTU).

Brother Lemme (PCO) increased from 0% to 1%.

Sued Haidar (PMB) was not in the previous survey, now it has 1%.

The candidacies of Hiran Roedel (PCB) and Itagiba (Avante) continued with 0%.

Blank and invalid votes totaled 12% (it was 21%). 

16% did not know or did not answer (it was 17%).

1.504 voters were interviewed between September 3rd and 6th in 37 cities in Rio de Janeiro state. The margin of error was three percentage points. More or less. The confidence level is 95%. 

The survey was registered with the Regional Electoral Court of Rio de Janeiro under protocol number RJ-01599/2022 and with the Superior Electoral Court under protocol number BR-02442/2022.
