Rio has already had 82 buses burned this year.

The estimated damage is R$ 56 million; each burned vehicle takes six months to be replaced and returned to service by the public; during this period, a bus can transport 70 people.

Rio 247 - Rio de Janeiro had 82 buses set on fire in 2017 in just over eight months, causing an estimated loss of R$ 56 million, according to RJTV. Each burned vehicle takes six months to be replaced and returned to service by the public.

During this period, a bus can transport 70 people.

On Sunday night (10), a bus on line 350 (Irajá-Passeio) was burned near Caju. Another, line 665 (Pavuna-Saens Peña), was set on fire in Benfica, on Avenida Ataulfo ​​Alves, in the North Zone.
