247 - Former aide to Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (Republicanos-RJ), Fabrício Queiroz, asked Wilson Carlos, former secretary to Sérgio Cabral and operator of the bribery scheme in the Rio de Janeiro state government, for a self-help book. Detained at the Pedrolino Werling de Oliveira Prison (Bangu 8), in the West Zone of Rio, since the afternoon of last Thursday (18), Queiroz asked Wilson Carlos, former secretary to Sérgio Cabral and operator of the bribery scheme in the state government, for a self-help book. The information was published in O Globo newspaper.

Carlos became the librarian at Bangu 8 prison after former congressman Edson Albertassi set up a library there, before going to house arrest two years ago.

Flávio Bolsonaro's former aide was arrested on charges of involvement in a money laundering scheme at the Rio de Janeiro State Legislative Assembly, where one of Jair Bolsonaro's sons held a seat as a state representative.

Before his arrest, Queiroz was in a property that served as the law office of Frederick Wassef, who defends the senator.

On Friday (19), lawyer Paulo Emílio Catta Preta filed a habeas corpus petition for Queiroz to be transferred to house arrest. Judge Suimei Cavalieri, of the 3rd Criminal Chamber of the Court of Justice of Rio (TJ-RJ), denied the request.
