A police officer was expelled from the force after presenting a medical certificate and being caught at training sessions and parties.

247 - The Military Police of Rio de Janeiro expelled from the corporation, last Saturday (12), Corporal Andressa Christine Medeiros dos Santos, 33, after the military officer was accused of participating in events and attending the gym for intense physical exercise while on medical leave for health treatment. She was assigned to the Pacifying Police Coordination (CPP) and was denounced for conduct classified as "serious disciplinary transgression". 

The corporal was removed from active duty in the force on July 27, 2018, after suffering a gunshot wound to her left foot. According to... UOL portalThe document indicated that the injury was not considered an act of service and did not detail the circumstances of the shooting. The soldier was removed from her duties to recover from the injury at that time.

A month after being suspended, on August 30th, the policewoman "posted a video on her social media page doing physical exercises at a gym when she should have been taking care of her health," the internal police document highlighted.

The police said that on December 9th and 30th, 2018, Andressa "participated in the Queen's Coronation Feijoada and the Amigos da Barra Band Meeting, where she appears dancing and wearing high heels." And, on December 14th, Andressa "posted a photo on social media at a gym." 

Andressa joined the Military Police on April 20, 2012.

The State Secretariat of Military Police emphasized that the former policewoman "did not exhibit conduct in accordance with the principles of the state military administration, being on medical leave repeatedly, yet maintaining a routine of social events and physical exercise inconsistent with her reported health condition."
