“Our security teams apprehended the perpetrator of the attack who cowardly targeted two schools in Aracruz this morning. I have decreed three days of official mourning as a sign of sorrow for the irreparable losses. We will continue investigating the motives and will have further clarification soon,” Casagrande posted on social media.
According to G1The police had already reported that the shooter used a car with a partially obscured license plate to commit the attack, "but from the remaining numbers they were able to identify the shooter's address. He was arrested about four hours after the attack at his home in Aracruz. Details of the killer's identity were not released by the police."
The attack took place on Friday morning (25) at the Primo Bitti State Elementary and High School (EEFM) and at the Praia de Coqueiral Educational Center, a private school. According to the Military Police, the victims are two teachers from the municipal network and a 6th grade student from the private unit.
