PCC: Meeting of the "Sintonia dos 14" ordered the assassination of former police chief Ruy Ferraz Fontes.
As a member of the faction, Marcola gave the order for the investigator's execution.
247 - The death of the then Chief of Police of São Paulo, Ruy Ferraz Fontes, was discussed at a meeting organized in the eastern zone of the São Paulo capital on March 10, 2019, the year in which Marcola, the top leader of the First Command of the Capital (PCC), ordered the assassination. One of the main criminal factions in Brazil, the PCC has more than two thousand members spread across almost 30 countries, and operates in more than 20 Brazilian states. The investigator died from gunshot wounds last Monday (15), in the municipality of Praia Grande (SP). One person was arrested.
According to information published in the MetropolisNailton Vasconcelos Martins, known as Irmão Molejo, played a prominent role in coordinating the attacks in 2019. He was part of Bonde dos 14, a criminal cell within the faction that acts as a kind of deliberative council in the eastern zone of São Paulo.
The meeting, in March 2019, took place in a strategically located property in the Cidade Tiradentes neighborhood, in the eastern zone. The objective was clear: "To pass on orders from the faction's high command to organize attacks on authorities in the State of São Paulo."
Nailton gathered several leaders of the faction, known as "sintonias," to devise plans for retaliation and ambushes against public officials. The order for the attacks came from Marco Willians Herbas Camacho, Marcola, who was arrested following an action by Ruy Ferraz Fontes, who also contributed to the faction's top leader being transferred to a harsher prison regime.
To carry out the mission, the General Coordination appointed a specific group of "brothers." The criminals chosen to kill Ruy Ferraz were: Fernando Henrique dos Santos, aka Koringa; Jhonatan Alexandre Rodrigues, aka Barata; Cleberson Paulo dos Santos, aka Mimo; Alan Donizeti dos Santos, aka Terere; and Marcos Ferreira de Souza, aka Corintiano.
At the time, there was no record of Ruy Ferraz being the target of an assassination attempt. The police do not rule out the possibility that the execution of the former police chief, six years later, is related to this plan by the "Sintonia dos 14" (a criminal organization).
