247 - The mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes (PMDB), criticized the acts of violence by protesters during demonstrations, and described the suspects in the death of TV Bandeirantes cameraman Santiago Ilídio Andrade as "spoiled rich kids".

"This time it was a bunch of spoiled rich kids who destroyed someone's life. They need to stay in jail for a long time. What we need is less impunity in Brazil and in Rio de Janeiro. Protest is part of it, what can't happen is going out on the street venting your resentments, attacking others with violence," said Paes.

Caio Silva de Souza was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday morning, suspected of lighting and releasing the firework that killed the cameraman. He was apprehended at a guesthouse in Bahia, near the bus station in Feira de Santana (BA), about 100 km from Salvador, around 2 am (3 am Brasília time).

Caio is the one who appears in the recorded images wearing jeans and a gray t-shirt, sweaty, according to the police. Like the tattoo artist Fábio Raposo, he was indicted for aggravated intentional homicide (with intent to kill) due to the use of explosives and the crime of causing an explosion, facing a possible sentence of 35 years.
