"The Line 4 Metro project is the largest infrastructure project currently underway in Brazil. It spans 16 km, will benefit 300 passengers, and the project is on schedule. Seventy-five percent of the work is complete—the excavation from Barra to Gávea is finished, and now the work involves the 'Tatuzão' (tunnel boring machine). The 'Tatuzão' is in Jardim de Alah, will reach Antero de Quintal in October, and by the end of the year we will connect the two tunnels," said the secretary.
