247 - A bus fell from a 10-meter-high bridge in the early hours of Monday (30) and left 4 dead and 29 injured on BR-116, in Além Paraíba. According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the vehicle was carrying the football team Esporte Clube Vila Maria Helena from Ubaporanga (MG) to Duque de Caxias (RJ). information These are from the G1 portal.

According to the Fire Department, the bus was carrying the driver, coaching staff, and players. Initially, four bodies were recovered from the wreckage. Twenty-four victims were taken to São Salvador Hospital in Além Paraíba. Another five were taken to Casa de Caridade Leopoldinense in Leopoldina. There are no details about their condition.

According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the vehicle overturned near a stream after the bus driver lost control. The trip is registered in the National Travel License system of the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT).
