Boyfriend arrested for the femicide of a transgender student at Unesp after refusing to acknowledge their relationship.

According to police, Carmen was killed for pressuring her boyfriend to make their relationship public. The young woman was a zootechnics student at the Ilha Solteira campus of the São Paulo State University (Unesp). Security camera footage showed Carmen entering Marcos's house on the day she disappeared, but there are no records of her leaving.
Besides the pressure to acknowledge the relationship, the victim allegedly discovered crimes committed by Marcos and gathered evidence against him. The crime allegedly involved the help of Roberto Carlos, with whom Marcos also had a romantic relationship.
