Many people are still buried and search teams are having difficulty accessing the area, says the mayor of São Sebastião.

247 - People are under rubble in São Sebastião (SP) this Sunday morning (19), according to the mayor of the city on the North Coast, Felipe Augusto.
"Several houses collapsed, and many people are still trapped under the rubble. Search and rescue teams are unable to access several locations. The situation is very chaotic," the mayor said in a social media broadcast.
The state governor, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos), arrived in the city to provide support in the municipality's crisis operation following a devastating storm.
In addition to the governor, leaders from Civil Defense, the Fire Department, the Military Police, and Mayor Felipe Augusto are at the scene.
