Lawyer dies after being shot by his own gun in São Paulo.
The death of Leandro Mathias was confirmed by the OAB-SP (São Paulo Bar Association).

The Brazilian Bar Association - São Paulo section (OAB-SP) released the information in the 108th Subsection of Cotia, in Greater São Paulo.
"It is with deep regret that the OAB Cotia informs all fellow lawyers of the unexpected loss of our dear friend and lawyer. We mourn the loss and extend our condolences to the family during this time of grief," they wrote on Instagram.
The shooting with the revolver took place in the Jardins area, an upscale neighborhood in the city of São Paulo (SP), on January 16.
Lawyer Novaes was also in favor of arming the population to reduce crime, one of the main proposals of Jair Bolsonaro (PL), former occupant of the Planalto Palace. The number of people with CAC certification increased 474% during his administration.
