Moraes fines Bolsonaro-supporting businessman R$100 for attempting to reclaim coup-supporting encampment in Belo Horizonte.

The fine extends to the owners of vehicles found at the scene and to anyone who continues to provide material support to the fraudsters.

247 - Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes has ordered a fine of R$ 100 to be imposed on the businessman. Esdras Jônatas dos Santos, leader of the coup-supporting encampment located in front of the Army barracks in Belo Horizonte (MG).

It was Esdras Jônatas dos Santos who managed to get it from the judge. Wauner Batista Ferreira Machado authorization to reclaim the camp, which had been dismantled by the Municipal Guard of the capital of Minas Gerais on Friday (6). However, the city hall appealed to the Supreme Court and managed to overturn the injunction granted by the judge.

The fine imposed by Moraes also applies to the owners of vehicles found at the site participating in the coup-mongering protest. Those who continue to provide material support – both logistical and financial – to the encampment will also be fined. 

"I thank Minister Alexandre de Moraes for his firm stance in defending public order by accepting our appeal and ordering the immediate clearing of Raja Gabaglia Avenue and its surroundings. The Democratic Rule of Law is a non-negotiable condition," declared the mayor of Belo Horizonte, Fuad Noman.
