Rio 247 – Former minister Marina Silva, founder of the Rede party but allied with Eduardo Campos' PSB party, wants to launch actor Marcos Palmeira's candidacy for a Senate seat in Rio de Janeiro. The actor is committed to causes championed by Marina, such as sustainability.

According to journalist Josias de Souza, from UolThe invitation will be extended this weekend, according to what the former senator informed the PSB. If she manages to convince Palmeira, the ticket in Rio should be finalized with the name of Congressman Miro Teixeira in the race for governor of the state.

Josias recalls that federal deputy Romário (PSB) had also expressed interest in running for Senate. If he is serious, there could be an internal dispute within the PSB.
