Derrite's R$3 million mansion is being paid for by a businessman, says contractor.
The contractor claims to have aligned prices with Guilherme Moron. Derrite denies this and says the work is being paid for with the contractor's own funds.

The residence, with 440 square meters of built area, is located in a gated community in the city that has become a haven for millionaires, 115 km from the capital of São Paulo. In 2022, Derrite declared assets of R$ 812 to the Electoral Court, a value far below the estimated cost of the construction.
Intermediation and payments - In a phone conversation with a reporter posing as a client, Genilton Mota stated that the construction payments are arranged with Derrite's "friend." When asked who that was, he replied: "Yes, Gui Moron. I prepare the invoice for him properly, nice and neat. And then he makes the payment there."
Moron, whose full name is Guilherme Moron Peres Trindade, is a businessman in the events sector in the interior of São Paulo state and frequently appears at public events and political meetings alongside Derrite. In 2023, he was awarded a medal by the Military Police by the secretary himself.
What Derrite says - The São Paulo Public Security Secretariat, through a statement, denied any involvement of Moron in the financing of the residence. "The businessman Guilherme Moron never contributed any amount related to the construction of Secretary Guilherme Derrite's property," the statement said.
According to the department, the work is being paid for entirely with Derrite's own funds, derived from the sale of an apartment he owns and his monthly income. The payments, according to the department, are made directly by the secretary via bank transfer and reported to the Federal Revenue Service. "The businessman Guilherme Moron is a client of the construction company responsible for the work and recommended the company to the secretary," the statement concludes.
Relationship between Moron and Derrite - The connection between Derrite and Moron goes back a long way. In a video posted by Moron on social media in 2021, the secretary describes him as a "childhood friend." In the recording, they both appear together in Brasília, during the delivery of a document to Congress on behalf of the events sector, which sought the resumption of activities interrupted by the pandemic.
Moron owns UZNA, considered the largest covered concert venue in the country, with 6 m² and a capacity for 12 people, in Sorocaba — Derrite's hometown. He also owns the production company Viva + Entretenimento, which works in partnership with city halls, as well as a high-end steakhouse in Araçoiaba da Serra, inaugurated in 2024 and also built by Construtora Mota.
In October 2023, a month after Derrite acquired the land in Porto Feliz for R$ 475, Moron was awarded the Commemorative Collar for the Sesquicentennial of the Liberal Revolution of 1842, presented by Derrite. In other posts, the businessman appears alongside the secretary and figures such as Michel Temer (MDB).
Moron also participated in the event where Governor Tarcísio de Freitas announced the construction of the Cacau Show theme park, scheduled for 2027. On that occasion, he posed alongside authorities and the project director, Vanessa Santos da Costa, with whom he maintains a partnership in the traditional Festa Junina de Votorantim (Votorantim June Festival).
House details - The construction of Derrite's residence is in its final stages. The property will have a modern design, with large windows, suspended volumes, and a cumaru wood finish—a noble material from the Amazon—used in floors and walls. According to the builder, this part of the structure alone cost around R$ 140, and the average construction cost was estimated at R$ 5,5 per square meter.
The 800 m² plot of land was purchased in cash via bank transfer in June 2023, directly from the developer. A month earlier, Derrite sold an apartment in Vila Leopoldina, in the western part of São Paulo, for R$ 650.
The gated community offers complete infrastructure, including tennis courts, an indoor heated pool, a gym, and a lake near the future home of the secretary.
Official statement from the SSP - The Public Security Secretariat reiterated that all of Guilherme Derrite's assets were acquired with resources consistent with his declared income over two decades of his career. The department denied that the house is located in a "very high-end condominium," as reported, and stated that the property is situated in the urban area of Porto Feliz.
According to the statement, the total estimated value for completed properties in the same condominium should not be directly compared to the cost of the Derrite project, which is under construction and being carried out gradually.
