247 - São Paulo police are investigating the possible connection between Suedna Barbosa Carneiro, identified as the head of a gang specializing in robberies committed by motorcyclists, and the death of police chief Josenildo Belarmino de Moura Júnior, who was murdered in January of this year in the southern part of the capital. Suedna was arrested in flagrante delicto this Tuesday (18), in Paraisópolis. The information is from Folha de S. Paul.

During the police operation, three weapons, 18 cell phones, R$ 21 in cash, computers, motorcycles, and jewelry were seized. According to the investigations, Suedna played a strategic role in the criminal organization, supplying weapons and equipment to the robbers, as well as acquiring stolen goods.

"Her role in this crime is to provide weapons in exchange for payment [rental] and to buy the items stolen by these gangs of thieves. So, she is already part of the investigation into the death of Dr. Belarmino because she provided the weapon, she provided the helmets, the bag. And she may have bought his cell phone," informed Marcel Druziani, head of the 11th Police Station (Santo Amaro).

Security camera footage captured the murder of the police chief. In the video, a motorcyclist, parked near a dumpster, approaches the victim and points a gun. He then appears to take the officer's weapon and shoots Belarmino.
