Lindbergh to Aécio: dream of being president is over
In a video posted on social media, Senator Lindbergh Farias (PT-RJ) rebuts the statement by the president of the PSDB, Senator Aécio Neves (MG), that Lula's candidacy, which leads the polls in all scenarios for 2018, is not competitive; "What do you mean, Aécio? Your candidacy is competitive, with 10%, below Bolsonaro, who has 11%, while Lula has 30,5%?", he asks; Lindbergh also says that the PSDB was the party that lost the most with the coup.
247 - Senator Lindbergh Farias (PT-RJ) warned Senator Aécio Neves (PSDB-MG), in a video posted on social media, that his dream of becoming president of the Republic is over. The statement was a response to Aécio's declaration that Lula's candidacy, who leads the polls in all scenarios, is not competitive.
"What do you mean, Aécio? Yours is the competitive one, with 10%, below Bolsonaro's 11%, while Lula has 30,5%?", asks the PT member. Lindbergh also says that the PSDB was the party that lost the most with the coup. "I have a conviction: if there's one party that lost with this coup, it was the PSDB. They paralyzed the country in 2015, allied with Eduardo Cunha, with those bombshell agendas, carried out this coup, and now they are partners in a failed government," he pointed out.
"Aécio didn't understand, his dream of being a presidential candidate is over. He had 35% in 2015 and now he has 10%," Lindbergh continued, criticizing the "arrogance" of the PSDB candidate. Lindbergh also says that "the PSDB is responsible for this rise of fascism, for Bolsonaro's candidacy. And they are being harmed." According to him, "the growth of President Lula is not by chance, it's due to the memory that the people have."
