Rio de Janeiro - Light technicians are at Praça Saens Peña, in Tijuca, making repairs to an underground cable that malfunctioned in the last few hours.

In a statement distributed to the press this morning (4), the company reported that it had registered the displacement of three manhole covers belonging to its network and one cover from another concessionaire. There is still no information about injuries.

The company assured that despite the incident, the electricity supply to the area continues as normal. Light is investigating the causes of the occurrence, the statement said.
