Investigators are looking into contracts for the electromechanical assembly of the third power plant at the Almirante Álvaro Alberto Nuclear Complex in Angra dos Reis (RJ) - Angra 3.
The suspicion is that the scheme operated within the bidding process published by Eletrobras Eletronuclear originally in August 2011. At the time, only two consortia were qualified: UNA 3 (formed by the companies Odebrecht, Andrade Gutierrez, Camargo Corrêa and UTC) and Angra 3 (composed of Queiroz Galvão, a subsidiary of the MPE group and Techint). Of the 12 companies participating in the bidding, 11 were mentioned in the Lava Jato investigation.
