Rio 247 - Responsible for ordering the seizure of all 11 cars belonging to Eike Batista, federal judge Flávio Roberto de Souza was caught by the newspaper Extra this morning (24) driving the businessman's white Porsche Cayenne. The magistrate arrived with the vehicle at the headquarters of the 3rd Federal Criminal Court, in downtown Rio, at 10:22 am, and entered through a side gate of the Federal Justice headquarters, on Avenida Barão de Tefé, according to the publication. The judge ordered the seizure of all the former billionaire's assets in Brazil.

In an interview with Extra on Sunday, Flávio Roberto took a jab at the businessman's lawyers, who are trying to remove him from one of the lawsuits, assuring that they won't make him "lose his temper" and even stated: "I'm going to dissect his soul."

Contacted by phone after the incident, the judge did not explain why he was driving the impounded car. "The connection is bad. I can't hear you," said Flávio Roberto.

He answered the call later, but still didn't talk about the incident. "I'm listening now, but I can't speak because I'm in a meeting."

With the repercussions of the case, he decided to justify himself. Or at least he tried to. The magistrate said he took the impounded car out to "protect it from the sun and rain."
