Josué Gomes will remain as president of Fiesp, the organization decides.

The businessman and his predecessor, Paulo Skaf, met and reached an agreement for the Federation of Industries of the state of São Paulo.

247 - Businessman Josué Gomes remains president of the Federation of Industries of the state of São Paulo (Fiesp). The leader reached an agreement with his predecessor, Paulo Skaf. 

The two signed a document, according to... G1 portal"We call upon everyone to set aside any differences and join us on this journey, confident that we are doing what is best for Fiesp and for Brazil," the text says.

The dismissal occurred on the 16th. Unions that are part of Fiesp's composition decided to remove Josué Gomes, accused of a lack of communication with other entities participating in the institution's structure. 

Lawyers from the Fiesp Superior Legal Council released a manifesto last Friday (20) in defense of Josué Gomes. A day earlier, the federation released a statement denying that Joshua Gomes has been removed from the presidency of the organization.

Gomes is the son of José Alencar, who, from 2003 to 2010, was the vice-president of Lula (PT), the current president. And Paulo Skaf declared his support for Jair Bolsonaro in the 2022 election.
