Jean feels ashamed of how the media is covering the meeting between Moraes and senators on a boat.
"As a journalist, I am ashamed that they treat the scandalous gathering between senators and a Supreme Court nominee as an 'informal grilling'," posted federal deputy Jean Wyllys (PSOL-RJ) on Twitter; the dinner held on Senator Wilder Moraes' (PP-GO) boat in Brasília with Supreme Court nominee Alexandre de Moraes, who will soon be questioned in the Senate, was called an "informal grilling" by media outlets such as Globo and Estadão.
247 - Federal deputy Jean Wyllys (PSOL-RJ) said he felt "ashamed" of the treatment the media has been giving to the "scandalous meeting" held between senators and the nominee for the Supreme Court, Alexandre de Moraes, on Senator Wilder Morais' (PP-GO) boat in Brasília on the evening of Tuesday the 7th.
"As a journalist, I am ashamed that they treat the scandalous fraternization between senators and a Supreme Court nominee as an 'informal grilling'," posted Jean Wyllys, who received support from his followers. The meeting was called an "informal grilling" by media outlets such as Globo and Estadão.
"The thing is, the hearing was on a boat. If it had been on a paddleboat, it would have been a scandal," writes an internet user, in response to the congressman's comment, referring to the paddleboats attributed by the Federal Police to Dona Marisa, wife of former president Lula who passed away last week, at a property in Atibaia (SP).
The party on the boat takes place days before the Senate hearing with Alexandre de Moraes. During the gathering, Moraes was asked if he would forget about the parliamentarians when he arrives at the Supreme Court.
The nominee is on leave from the Ministry of Justice and is garnering votes in the Senate while Espírito Santo and other states are mired in a public security crisis.
