Ipec in Rio: Cláudio Castro has 38% and Marcelo Freixo, 25%.
Former mayor of Niteroi, Rodrigo Neves (PDT), remained in third place, with 7%.
247 - The Ipec survey, released this Tuesday (27) and commissioned by GlobeThe poll showed the governor of Rio de Janeiro, Cláudio Castro (PL), in first place with 38% of voting intentions for the state government. He had 37% in the previous poll, from September 20th.
In second place was Marcelo Freixo (PSB), with 25% (down from 27%). Former mayor of Niteroi, Rodrigo Neves (PDT), had 7% (6% in the previous survey).
Cyro Garcia (PSTU) maintained his 3%. Three other candidates remained at 2% each. Luiz Eugênio (PCO) remained at 0%.
Blank votes, null votes, and those who said they would not vote for any candidate, totaled 11% (the same percentage as the previous survey). Those who did not know how to answer totaled 9% (9% in last week's survey).
In the second round of voting, Cláudio Castro (PL) defeated Freixo by 44% to 34%. The previous result was 45% for the governor against 35% for his opponent.
Two thousand voters were interviewed between September 24th and 26th. The margin of error was plus or minus two percentage points. The confidence level is 95%. The survey is registered with the Regional Electoral Court of Rio de Janeiro under protocol number RJ-00773/2022 and with the Superior Electoral Court under protocol number BR-09459/2022.
