Ipec: Lula's approval rating fluctuates downwards in São Paulo and upwards in Minas Gerais; Bolsonaro stabilizes.

According to the Ipec Institute, the former president lost three points in São Paulo and gained three in Minas Gerais.

247 - Research by the Ipec Institute in four states and the Federal District, released this Tuesday (30) by TV Globo, showed that, compared to the previous survey, from August 15, the candidate for President of the Republic Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) had three points less in São Paulo (from 43% to 40%), the largest electoral college in Brazil, and three more among voters in Minas Gerais (from 42% to 45%), the second largest electoral college in the country. 

Jair Bolsonaro (PL), who is second in the polls, remained stable in São Paulo (at 31%), but gained one point in Minas Gerais (from 29% to 30%). 

The variations in support for both candidates fell within the survey's margin of error, which is plus or minus three percentage points.
