Inep publishes Enem answer keys online.

Candidates should visit the Inep website to check the answers to the 180 questions.

The official answer keys for this year's National High School Exam (Enem) are now available online. Candidates should visit the website of the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research (Inep) to check the answers to the 180 questions administered over the two days of the exam.

On the first day, candidates answered 90 questions in the humanities and natural sciences. On the second day, the tests covered languages and mathematics, in addition to an essay on the topic "Living in a Networked World in the 21st Century: The Boundaries Between Public and Private." Individual results for participants will only be released in January 2012.

The ENEM (Brazilian National High School Exam) uses Item Response Theory (IRT) to calculate candidates' scores. The method is quite different from that used in traditional university entrance exams: the number of correct answers is not the only determinant of the score – each item has a different weight, depending on its difficulty level. Understand how IRT works.
