The shot that hit Fernando was allegedly fired from the weapon of one of the supermarket security guards, after a fight with a group of teenagers. According to reports, the shooting was accidental.
According to the police, the security guard will be charged with manslaughter, which is homicide without intent to kill.
The confusion began when the group of young people arrived at the establishment, around 18:30 pm, and started a fight with an employee. According to police investigations, the security guard intervened in the argument and started fighting with the young people; at that moment, his weapon fell and discharged.
According to witnesses, the bullet hit Fernando in the head, and he was taken to the Getúlio Vargas State Hospital. He did not survive his injuries and died.
